Kaye Adams, 63, the Scottish presenter known for ITV's Loose Women, has lost her BBC Radio Scotland show, Mornings with Kaye Adams, a post she held for 15 years and that paid 155,000 pounds a year. She was suspended in October 2025 and formally removed following an internal disciplinary investigation carried out in 2026.
That investigation upheld three separate counts of inappropriate behavior, swearing at a colleague, throwing a pen in frustration, and criticizing an intern's professional abilities. Two other, separate bullying complaints against her were not upheld.
Adams has categorically denied the allegations, describing them as malicious stories. I am heartbroken that 15 years of hard work and dedication to BBC Scotland is being reduced to this, she said, pushing back hard against how the situation has been characterized.
Despite that denial, Adams offered a more candid reflection in a separate appearance on Vanessa Feltz's YouTube series, At Home with Vanessa Feltz, acknowledging she had not been happy in the role for some time. I was very unhappy where I was, and I should have left, but I was scared, she said. She continues to appear on Loose Women, giving her a public platform that survived the BBC exit intact even as the circumstances behind it remain contested.
