Fans of Chinese singer Wang Junkai are demanding action after a woman allegedly broke into the trunk of his car during the Guangzhou stop of his concert tour and took photographs from inside it. The photos, shared online, include one showing a man believed to be Wang wearing a bucket hat and mask while resting in the vehicle.
What has amplified the outrage is the caption the woman posted alongside one of the images. The first thing my baby does when he wakes up is stare at my camera, she wrote, a line fans have pointed to as evidence of just how far the intrusion went beyond a chance encounter.
Supporters are now pushing Wang's studio to formally report the incident to police rather than let it pass as an isolated fan moment, and many have directed sharp criticism at his security team for allowing someone to get close enough to his vehicle to climb into the trunk undetected in the first place.
As of publication, Wang's team had not issued any public response to the incident or to the mounting pressure from fans. The gap between the widely shared photos and the silence from his camp has only added to the frustration driving calls for a police report, with supporters treating his security lapse as the more pressing concern over the intrusion itself.
