Salma Hayek has a new title to go along with actress and producer: grandmother. The 59 year old shared a video on Instagram introducing her newest grandchild, a baby boy she has already nicknamed Panchito, and made clear from the first frame that she is thoroughly smitten.

Four generations, one family name
The baby was born to Hayek's stepson, François Pinault Jr., and his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, making him part of a family line that now spans four living generations. Hayek has been married to François Henri Pinault since 2009, and the arrival adds another name to a household she has described as full in every sense of the word.
In her post, Hayek noted the milestone directly, framing the birth as something the whole family had been waiting on with excitement rather than a quiet, private affair.
A grandmother who already sounds like one
The video itself is what sold fans on the moment. Hayek is seen cradling the sleeping infant, speaking softly to him in Spanish and asking what he might be dreaming about, at one point calling him chiquitito hermoso, or beautiful little one.
"He seems to love it, and I cannot love him more," Hayek wrote, referring to the nickname Panchito taking hold almost instantly. The baby's mother posted her own tribute alongside family photos, calling her husband the world's coolest François and their son the world's cutest one, a small joke about a name that is now shared by four generations in a row.
