Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky have spent years building Your Mom's House into one of the most listened to comedy podcasts around, largely by being unusually candid about their own lives. That habit did not change when the subject turned to their marriage ending, even though Segura made clear it was the hardest thing he has had to talk through on the show.
Years of trying before the split became final
Segura and Pazsitzky married in 2008 and share two sons, Ellis and Julian. According to both of them, the marriage did not end abruptly. Pazsitzky described attempting to repair things for several years before finally accepting it was not going to work, a timeline Segura backed up when he addressed the split publicly for the first time.
He described the emotional toll in blunt terms, saying his feelings shifted constantly throughout any given day and that the experience had genuinely worn on him. Having the breakup play out in public, he added, made an already difficult stretch harder still.
Amicable, but not painless
Both were careful to separate the pain of the split from any sense of conflict between them. Pazsitzky said plainly that they gave the marriage everything they had and simply could not make it work, while stressing there is no animosity on either side. Segura echoed that, noting the two still talk regularly and continue to support each other despite no longer being married.
