Nikki Garcia is not chasing a relationship, and she wants that to be clear. On a recent episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, the podcast she co-hosts with her twin sister Brie, Garcia spoke openly about where she stands on dating these days, and the message was less about giving up on love and more about no longer needing it to feel complete.

No fear in staying single
Garcia, 42, said she does not carry any fear around the idea of never having another relationship, marriage, or partner again. She described feeling completely at peace with that possibility, adding that she does not feel a need to have it in her life. That said, she was clear the door is not closed entirely, noting that if the right connection came along, she would welcome it.
Life after a difficult divorce
Garcia shares a six year old son, Matteo, with her ex husband Artem Chigvintsev. The two met on Dancing With the Stars, married in 2022, and divorced in 2024 following a difficult stretch that included a domestic violence arrest against Chigvintsev, which prosecutors later declined to pursue for lack of evidence. Both eventually dropped restraining orders against each other as part of settling the divorce, and have focused since on co-parenting their son.
Garcia credited a period of personal and spiritual growth for where she is now, saying her priority these days is raising Matteo rather than searching for a partner. She acknowledged that as her son gets older and more independent, she may feel more open to dating again, but for now she is content letting that happen on its own timeline, if it happens at all.
