Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been settling into their new life in England since the family's return in late August, and one of the first visitors through the door was someone who has known Meghan longer than almost anyone in her orbit. She also reflected on getting to experience several of Jack's early milestones with her closest friend by her side, a detail that gave the whole visit a warmer, more personal tone than a typical celebrity outing.
The timing lined up with a busy stretch for the family, with Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, having just started at their new school in the UK. Against that backdrop, a low key visit from an old friend and her baby reads like exactly the kind of grounding, ordinary moment the family has said they were hoping to find more of back in Britain.
